First of all log in on “My Dinesat” at dinesatmovie.com, then go to Services and select the product installer and download it.

When you register at our web you will receive an email from noreply@dinesat.com with your account details. This information will grant you access to your profile, your products information and our user’s forum.

If you are going just to stream your channel online, you do not need any I/O video card.

If you will work just with NDI signals, you do not need any I/O video card.

In HDMI or analog environments, it is recommended to use two Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K I/O video cards; using one board for live input and broadcast and the other for ingest and ingest monitoring.

In SDI environments, it is recommended to use one Blackmagic Decklink Duo 2 I/O video card; using one in channel for live input, one out channel for broadcast, one in channel for for ingest and the last one for ingest monitoring.

DINESAT MOVIE supports one in / out channel for live-in / broadcast and one in / out for ingest / ingest monitoring.

Once you download the installer (if you need help downloading the installer please refer to the question “How do I download the latest version of DINESAT MOVIE?” From this FAQs section) execute it from within the .zip file and follow the installation wizard instructions. Remember to select the database and storage locations during this process.

Once you finish the installation process you will need to restart your computer. After, you will only have to double click on the DINESAT MOVIE icon on your desk. The first time you will need to enter your Dinesat Cloud Services License for the product to start.

The first time you execute the product it will open a set up wizard that will guide you through different features, from the product set up to each window, SDI and NDI input and output formats, and internet streaming for social media (YouTube, Ustream, Facebook Live, etc.).

Once you open DINESAT MOVIE, you will see a window named DINESAT CLOUD SERVICES, there you must enter your DINESAT CLOUD SERVICES License. This information was automatically emailed to you once purchased the product or requested a trial. You should find an email from noreply@dinesat.com containing this information.

Open Windows Start Menu, write services then press “enter”. It will open the Windows Services Console, you should verify the service "DINESAT MOVIE - DINESAT Server" is initiated. If not click with you right mouse key and select initiate.

When a new version is available, Dinesat will open a notification on your screen detailing all the new features and a link to download the update. Do not hesitate to download the update as you will have new features.

Once you downloaded this file you will have to uninstall your DINESAT MOVIE from Apps & features at Windows settings, then restart your computer. All your settings, video materials, programs and database will remain intact as the system will not modify them by uninstalling the old version and installing the new one.

Open Windows Start Menu, and write “DINESAT MOVIE”, and select the User´s Manual. You can also download it from our Forum.

In order to access your emission reports, open your ADS or Music Playout Window, click with your right mouse key on the programming and select "Programming > As Run Log..." on the drop down menu.

The system will open a new window, there you will have to select the start and end dates. Then click on Generate report. Select the most suitable option and complete the parameters. Then click on Generate report.

You can setup your streaming from the setup wizard. You can connect to different servers (like YouTube, Ustream, Facebook Live, etc) using RTMP.

Copy your storage folder located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\DINESAT MOVIE\DINESAT MOVIE Server\Storage\Storage 1". Also copy your last automatic database backup located at "C:\Program Files (x86)\DINESAT MOVIE\DINESAT MOVIE Server\Database Backups".

To restore the materials folder backup, please copy it on "C:\Program Files (x86)\DINESAT MOVIE\DINESAT MOVIE Server\Storage\Storage 1". To restore your database (which contains all your playlist and material`s information) you will have to use the MS SQL Server Management Studio Express.

Make a backup of your storage and database. Then restore your back up on your new workstation.

If possible restart your computer. If not restart the service "DINESAT MOVIE SERVER" from the Windows Services Console.
